Foundation Programme

In BRS, the main focus will be on note-taking, summarizing and referencing. In addition, the module will provide opportunities to enrich your vocabulary and reflect on your time management skills. Apart from these, you will also acquire some basic presentation skills.

When students join the college they lack exposure to academic writing. This module addresses the development of academic writing, as it is the skill most needed by students to write essays in their assignments, examinations and later on in their level 3 projects. Furthermore, It enables you to demonstrate discipline and thoughtfulness, which is important to communicate their ideas clearly in writing.
