OOi is an innovation 'hotspot' aimed at showcasing best practices and promoting innovative practices. Innovation can be conceptualized as improvement over existing products and services, processes and design. Creativity skills characterized by ideation and problem solving is input that produces innovative outputs. Staff members are invited to share ideas, initiate discussions and showcase best practices. The ideas generated through discussion forums would be nominated as 'innovation stars' by the coordinating committee. The virtual office is categorized into two sections which are "Best Practices" and "Innovative practices".
