Principles of Banking (POB)

The module aims at building the understanding of the products and services offered by commercial banks and also outline the role played by them. A sound understanding of relevant concepts and framework of banking system in general will help them to analyze the banking related matters. Students will develop an understanding of banking operations and main functions of commercial banks. The module creates an awareness of regulatory and statutory environment in which banks operate including the various products and services offered by commercial banks.
