Dear students
This is a reminder that all types of smoking are prohibited on MUC premises (vapers, electronic cigarettes, tobacco, and regular cigarettes). That includes every location within the campus; classes, bathrooms, corridors, gardens, social areas, canteen, and parking areas...etc.
Please note that the MUC Health and Safety Policy states that The College strictly adheres to Article 16 of Resolution 33/2010 of the Omani law regarding smoking in public places. Smoking is strictly prohibited on campus and signs are displayed around the campus warning that if anyone is caught smoking, they are liable to be fined RO100-RO300. 💰
Smoke detectors will be installed soon all around the campus to detect any violation of the No Smoking Law! 👈
