Hence Business and organizations have embraced Virtual Enterprise structures that are the need of the hour to survive and compete in the business market. Virtual Enterprise (VE) are a competitive strategy that provides the features needed for companies to compete in the market and meet consumer needs, by means of shortening the time-to-market of their products and services. Virtual enterprises are typically composed of multiple business and organization which function as a single unit but are located all over the world for shared profitability. These businesses communicate through the use of networks that use Information and communication technologies (e.g. video conferencing, email and intranets).

Land Transport Management (LTM)

The Land Transport Management Module aims to develop students understanding of the appropriate management aspects in Land transport operations management; provide an understanding of the relationship between logistics and Land transport management and the basic principles underpinning the movement of goods and passengers; and evaluate the various modes in which the legislation, economic, social and demographic factors all affect the governance land transport services. Logistics undertakes a systems methodology to a wide selection of activities for example materials handling, warehousing, traffic management, inventory control, and packaging. The module is designed to provide an understanding of the concept of Land Transport Management. It covers the role of land transportation in the logistical chain, detailed vehicle costing and control; financial aspects of vehicle purchasing, management and replacement; client service and marketing of transport product; and analysis of current land transport legislation. The module has a strong component and allurements on many disciplines to produce graduates with problem solving, analytical, teamwork, and communications skills.

Digital Automation and Solutions (DAS)

Marketing experts consider digital marketing to be an entirely new endeavour that requires a new way of approaching customers and new ways of understanding how customers behave compared to traditional marketing.

The focus of this module is on understanding the concept of Digital Marketing and implementing Hands-on experience with Marketing Automation Techniques, and practical activities in demonstration and analysis of campaign management using Social Media Marketing.

You will achieve the learning outcome of this module through local and international case studies discussions, Lectures, Seminars, and practical activities in digital campaign designing for marketing automation.

This module is designed:

Drawing on the knowledge of marketing especially ‘product concept’ and ‘positioning’ from level 1 this module at level 2 further builds branding elements and strategies leading to a comprehensive marketing programme.

Students will learn to create an awareness on the impact of time frames, pre-event preparation, on-site management and post-event requirements relating to the various scales and proposed target groups of events. Provide students with an understanding of a range of theories pertaining to event management. It is intended to offer students with the essential skills to work in the sector of events management and to completely appreciate the significance of a successfully-run event through collaborative presentations, discussions, site visits, and actual experience in executing various collegiate events. This module covers the following topics: Introduction to Events operations management; Theories and concepts of Events Operations Management; Logistic and challenges of staging live events; Legal issues of event Management; Risk Management aspects of organizing and running events; Human resources Management and issues in Event Operation Management; Intergraded Marketing communication for events and Sponsorship of Events; and Operational Issues in the Staging of Live events.

Financial Reporting (FR)
